Still a classic, over 60 years after it was introduced, Fisher Price's Chatter Telephone # 747. Obviously well loved, this piece shows it's age, but still has countless hours of play to offer! Of note: the dial decal is missing; lithograph edges are quite worn; some fraying of the fabric chord. Please take a careful look at all of the photos provided. Children should be supervised during play as pull string and phone chord pose risk. Made in USA.
We use Etsy's "calculated shipping" tool, and refund postage overages when they occur.
At Where the Wild Finds Are, all items have been pre-loved and are sold in “as is” condition. As with most vintage items, signs of wear appropriate to age may be present. Notable flaws are highlighted in the listing, where we describe and photograph each item with as much detail/accuracy as possible, ensuring you understand the condition of the product(s) you are purchasing. Please take a thorough look at the photos provided, read the item description, review our shop announcements, and contact us with any questions PRIOR to checkout – we are happy to help!

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Due to NEW Customs rules (effective August 29, 2025), import duties/tariffs will be charged to most packages entering the U.S., based on the current tariff rate of the country of origin i.e. where the product was made. Our shop ships via Chit Chats, a third party service that utilizes partner carriers like Canada Post, and USPS for "final mile" delivery. Packages destined for the USA are subject to DDP postage (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning extra fees are paid up-front, so there won't be any surprises on the recipients' end on arrival. Listings that do not indicate shipping options for our American customers can, in most cases, still be shipped - we just have to calculate and collect the associated fees. Contact us for details.
An ad valorem tariff rate, based on a product's country of origin (where it was made), and calculated as a percentage of an item's value, will apply to the majority of our listings. For listings that do not indicate a U.S. destined delivery fee, please contact us with your address: we are more than happy to complete the requisite paper work to determine any additional fees associated with your product(s) of choice, and create a private listing for said item(s).
We have added Country of Origin to each of our listings to assist you, should you prefer to "guesstimate" extra fees on your own. You can check online tariff tools or search "international tariff rates by country", or contact U.S. Customs and Border Control. We can not ship items with indeterminate country of origin, at this time. Again, we're happy to contact our shipping partner to determine the exact fees associated with the item(s) you're interested in: simply contact us, and include a shipping address.
Fellow Canadians, shopping at Where the Wild Finds Are, will not incur additional fees due to U.S. tariffs.
The shipping cost for single book purchases is a direct reflection of the brokerage fees incurred to ship to the U.S. following the imposition of tariffs and termination of the de minimis exemption. To help offset the increase, we have reduced the cost for additional titles shipped in the same order to $2. All orders are shipped with tracking and insurance, protecting both buyer and seller from loss or damage. Shipping overages, when they occur, are refunded.
