Found at auction, we're thrilled to offer this rare, and absolutely stunning, teacup and saucer by Paragon China Ltd., circa 1952, pattern A1584. In outstanding condition, blush pink centers are encircled by white and yellow cabbage rose garlands on heavily gilded backgrounds on both the cup and saucer; the backstamp includes the royal warrants of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth (consort of King George VI) and Her Majesty Queen Mary, the king's mother. The cup measures approximately 2.25" t x 4" diameter, the saucer is 5.5" in diameter. An extraordinary gift, or incredible piece to add to your collection.
