Aynsley Teacup and Saucer Set - Vintage 1950s - Collectible/Gift for Her - Made in England

Very pretty burgundy teacup and saucer set from Aynsley China. Features a transfer bouquet of flowers in the cup, and scalloped, gold-detailed edges, on both cup and saucer. This was obviously a well-used set, as evidenced by a small chip on the underside of the saucer, and consistent wear of gold detailing, particularly along the cup rim. I would rate it's condition as fair - good, for a cup of it's vintage. The backstamp indicates production between 1940 - 1960.
