Vintage Aynsley Bluebell Time Teacup and Saucer - Turquoise - Widemouth Avon Style - 1940s - Made in England

Beautiful wide-mouth Avon style bone china teacup and saucer set by Aynsley. The saucer and exterior cup are a stunning turquoise, while the cup interior features the popular "Bluebell Time" pattern: majestic birch trees, against a mountainous backdrop, stand in a field of bluebells and pink heather. Gilding adorns the cup and saucer rims, as well as the handle. Very minor wear to the gold rim at center of the saucer, and some wear/flea bites in turquoise. A beautiful set, perfect for collectors. Dates to early mid-century (1940s). Made in England.
