This is such a pretty cup by Paragon China, commemorating Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation on June 2, 1953. Features double royal warrants, the Queen's cypher - E II R - Elizabeth Regina, and the national flowers of England - wild rose, Scotland - thistle, Wales - daffodil, Ireland - shamrock, in the popular Avon (wide-mouthed) shape. The rims of both cup and saucer are gilded, as is the handle. Small chip as noted in pictures, and reflected in price. Truly a lovely set, suitable for display. Made in England.
