To our American Customers: unfortunately, we can not ship to the U.S. at this time. We sincerely hope that processes are soon put into place that will allow for the collection and remittance of new tariffs so we can once again ship our “wild finds” to you. Until then, please accept our apologies and continue supporting our small business by “favoriting” the treasures you love, and “following” our shop. Thanks, so much!

This copy of PANO the Train is in very good condition for it's age. Note shelf wear on front cover (scuffs) and fading on spine; free of dog ears, tears, inscriptions etc; some mild softening of corners and page edges. The story is interactive with train sounds - 'toot-toot", "ding-ding", and "chug-chugged" - represented by icons throughout the text, encouraging children to "read" along and participate in the story telling. This 10th printing bears a copyright from 1975, authored by Sharon Holaves, and illustrated by Giannini. Printed in the USA.
For more great children's books, visit our shop's "Books" section.
At Where the Wild Finds Are, all items are in pre-loved condition and sold “as is”. As with most vintage items, signs of wear appropriate to age may be present. Notable flaws are highlighted in the listing where we describe and photograph each item with as much detail/accuracy as possible, ensuring you understand the condition of the product(s) you are purchasing. Please take a thorough look at the photos provided, and contact us with any questions PRIOR to checkout – we are happy to help! *
Effective August 29, 2025, the section 321 De Minimis tax exemption, which allowed for low value goods to be imported into the U.S. duty free, will be rescinded. Import fees/tariffs will be charged to buyers, on delivery. Brokerage fees, determined by individual couriers e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx etc. may also apply. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to remit these fees. Please order only if you are agreeable to these terms as our shop does not accept returns nor can we offer refunds for orders refused due to import fees. We are hopeful that these changes will be short-lived, and are working hard to bring you more products “Made in the USA” that we believe can be shipped duty-free. Updates will be posted in the coming days and weeks. For more information, see our FAQs and Shop Announcement, located at the bottom of the page.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Due to NEW Customs rules (effective August 29, 2025), import duties/tariffs will be charged to most packages entering the U.S. based on the current tariff rate of the country of origin i.e. where the product was made. American buyers are solely responsible for remitting these fees which may include "brokerage" fees in addition to the applicable tariff rate. Please be aware and order with the understanding that we can not accept returns at this time, nor will refunds be issued for packages refused due to unpaid duties.
Unfortunately, we are unable to estimate these fees but CAN share that one of two rates, as determined by the carrier, will apply. An ad valorem duty, equal to the tariff rate of the product's country of origin (where it was made) under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) OR (from August 29, 2025 to February 28, 2026) a specific per item duty from $80 to $200 based on the IEEPA tariff rate of the country of origin .
We have added Country of Origin to each of our listings to assist you. Check online tariff tools or search "international tariff rates by country", or contact U.S. Customs and Border Control. We can not ship items with indeterminate country of origin, nor those made in China and Hong Kong, to the U.S. at this time.
Fellow Canadians, shopping at Where the Wild Finds Are, will not incur additional fees due to U.S. tariffs.
